How It Works
Everything you need to know to play Back Page Picks.
The Basics
OverviewEach week, a set of games is selected for the pool. Your job is simple: pick the winner of every game and rank your picks from most confident to least confident. The more confident you are in a pick, the more points it's worth if you get it right.
At the end of the week, your points are totaled based on how many picks you got correct and how confident you were in each one. The player with the most points wins the week.
The Confidence System
ScoringThis is what separates Back Page Picks from a standard pick'em. Every pick is assigned a confidence value based on where you rank it.
If there are 16 games in a week, you rank your picks 1 through 16:
How to Submit
PlayingStep 1: Go to My Picks and click on the team you think will win each game.
Step 2: Your picks appear in the Confidence Board on the right. Drag them up or down to set your confidence order — the top pick earns the most points.
Step 3: Once you've picked every game, hit Submit Picks. You can update your picks any time before the deadline.
Step 4: After the admin locks picks (usually before kickoff), your selections are frozen. Scores update automatically as games finish.
Tiebreakers & Rules
Rules• You must pick every game in the pool to submit. Partial submissions are not accepted.
• Picks are hidden from other players until the admin locks the week. No peeking allowed.
• If a game ends in a tie, no points are awarded for that pick regardless of which team you chose.
• The overall leaderboard tracks cumulative points across all weeks played during the season.
